Mary is a woman who has depression. It is another day to live, another day for someone without reasons to live. The past week she didn't sleep well. Wanting to die every day seems crazy, but another day just had began, it is the time to go to work! Mary is ready.
Mary used to be a lovely girl, when she was 15, she studied in the school. She lived in a small city with her parents. She pretend to be happy, but she wasn't; she was loving someone else for some years, in secret. A Mary feels that her room is cage, her parents are not easy to convince to let her go to some places, like the cinema. Mary loves the movies. Mary loved a guy who already had a girlfriend, it seems a trick of the life, the girlfriend was a Mary's friend: Caroline. Caroline was a girl in the same classroom of Mary. She knew Caroline for first time since she had 10. She was a good friend. And she liked boys. At least the guy who Mary loved wasn't in the same class, and his name is John. John was a good student, he has a good memory. Mary knew some about John, for example he liked tigers, even he had a bag with one logo a yellow tiger. Mary thought a lot about John, she tried to take advantage of some situations, but Caroline used to be so near to him. Some friends of Mary bothered her about to have a boy friend. The pressure of the group is something she feels constantly like every teen in the world. Mary's shyness defines her a lot.
Mary had some friends in the past. But those boys were like a nightmare, some were stalking her constantly; and she wasn't a sport girl. Boys liked football, at least John was less sport fan or player. She was doing good for a while. She was convinced about don't be involved with boys and everything will be ok. She was fine till the begging of the actual school year, she had new classmates. Currently Mary become more shy about boys. The situation about John is becoming frustrating, Mary explodes when anybody is seeing her. The only thing Mary considers a real problem about be a girlfriend with John is fact that he is rich, because she is not that rich, and something inside her tell her about take care. Mary knew that Caroline had another boyfriend. She couldn't ask for help to Caroline, or worse, to her parents.
Some day the school organized a trip when the students will travel to a mountain. That day Mary was traveling with John and any girlfriend around, Caroline was sick. The travel in the bus was normal. Mary noticed the hide glances of John toward her. Some experiences are the key, and Mary is waiting for this chance. Fighting against her shyness, she walked toward John. But she discovered that her fears were true. John wasn't the guy she expected, in special he was so materialistic. Mary ended the trip, knowing she can have more chances, not only John exists. But she felt bad. Mary just went on, finally having a boyfriend the next summer.
Some years had passed. John was walking near to a mall. He was feeling tired, the summer was extreme. People was around, some without so much clothes. He suddenly remembered old days having more money, things happens and this can change. He already wanted something his dad use to have: that red car, a Ferrari GTO 250. His father and John traveled for full days, here and there, all was happiness. The mall was a site to visit, like a place full of dreams to a child. Just giving a turn in the corner, John discovered how close are the ideas, when someone want them, to the reality. The chance. That red car just there baking to him some past. Just only ten minutes later, John was driving again the car. He was a thief. At home, with a big smile, John discovered a letter from a really dangerous thief who wanted to kill him. John had mistakes. Mistakes like the destiny, all seem against him, like the day his parents dead. He wasn't not ready for this again. The dead seems so strange to someone who has the opportunity to live again, at least for a little in the past. That past that was more clear, and remember him those promises for a future that never happened like John was thinking. A call, and he noticed that someone was seeing his steps, people knows that he had the car. And now he had a chance to live: to give the car or die. It is another suddenly chance? what to do? John want to see a different way, choose different, now or never. And in the same way like his uncertain life was happening, he decide to give it more order. John moving to another city, without the car, but with new hope in the future.
John was traveling to the city he grew up. John again can be tortured for the memories, the good and the bad. He was having hopes in his heart, hopes about to take better choices, about to have new beginning. John was missing something, searching the his memory, trying and trying to guess what he did bad. His intuition says him that he lost something, he had the chance for a better live.
John is back to the small town where he grew up. After renting a small room, and only having hope, he begin a walk. Many things have changed, some are the same. Many places he used to visit with his dad were there, remaining things that remember him the past. He went for a coffee. The coffee was an small place, but a well know one. John saw that the place were asking for help, the chance for a small job. He was ready to take a job, any can be good, he though. John already had the good memory many people liked, and he figure out Mary entering in the coffee while he was waiting for the boss of the place. Mary didn't change so much her appearance, but she wasn't a girl anymore, and already single. And John didn't have his materialistic way of be anymore.
They didn't have the blame for how they grew up, some circumstances aren't under control. The first talk after many time were not perfect. But after some time they were ready for talk more fluent. John confess her how he felt. And Mary did the same. They discovered how the things happened in the past. Some things never happen, some happens because it should be. Mary and John are together.
